Mountain Holly (Olearia ilicifolia), an evergreen, summer-flowering shrub native found over much of New Zealand from East Cape southwards, from sea level to 1200m. It can grow to as much as 45m tall but is usually considerably smaller. The foliage is similar to that of Olearia x macrodonta, but has only a thin indumentum and the toothed edges are more regular and even. Order: Asterales, Family: Asteraceae
