Coprosma virescens, an evergreen shrub up to 8m tall, native to New Zealand with a scattered distribution in both main islands, mainly in the east. It has a strongly divaricating growth habit, tangled orange-brown stems and small leaves. The flowers are minute but those on female plants are followed by small, black-spotted, white fruits. Order: Gentianales, Family: Rubiaceae
