Giant Peruvian. Daffodil (<i>Paramongaia weberbaueri</i>), a bulb of the Amaryllis family (<i>Amaryllidaceae</i>) that resembles a very large daffodil, both in flower and foliage. Its flower are scented but regrettably the petals often start to brown quite soon after the flower opens. There are two forms: one winter-flowering that is native to coastal.
