Himalayan Mayapple (Podophyllum hexandrum), a spring-flowering rhizomatous woodland perennial native to western China and the Himalayan region. The flowers have three to five petals, range from white to purplish-pink and are usually open before the foliage is fully developed. When fully unfurled, the marbled leaves are up to 25cm wide. Order: Ranunculales, Family: Berberidaceae
