Neoregelia carolinae 'Inferno', a cultivar of a Brazilian evergreen perennial commonly known as the blushing bromeliad. The leaves can grow 30-60cm long and are boldly variegated with a broad cream edge and occasional longitudinal stripes. As the flowers mature the centre of the plant becomes bright red.
