Pittosporum 'Variegatum', a 4-5m tall cultivar with cream-edged foliage. Although often listed as a P tenuifolium cultivar, its origins are not confirmed and it is best regarded as a possible hybrid 'Variegatum' can be confused with P tenuifolium 'Garnettii' but 'Garnettii' is distinguished by its very dark blackish-brown twigs, which mark it as a true P tenuifolium cultivar, whereas 'Variegatum' has pale greenish brown twigs and is though to possibly be a hybrid Both 'Garnettii' and 'Variegatum' often develop pink tones in winter, but 'Garnettii' is usually brighter. Order: Apiales, Family: Pittosporaceae
