The fruit and mature foliage of the Weeping Silver Pear (Pyrus salicifolia 'Pendula'), a small deciduous tree from south-eastern Europe through the Caucasus to western Asia. The cultivar 'Pendula' appears identical to the species. While cultivated for its foliage and form, the fruit can be abundant and while small and not really practical to eat raw, they can be made into jams and jellies. Order: Rosales, Family: Rosaceae
