Bergamot. Thyme or Bergamot. Scented Thyme (<i>Thymus serpyllum 'Bergamot'), a citrus-scented, downy-leafed cultivar of the common. Thyme, a prostrate, evergreen, summer-flowering shrub from northern Europe with very aromatic foliage occasionally used in cooking and which has given rise to many such garden cultivars.
