The mature seedpods of Rapeseed or Canola (Brassica napus). Rapeseed is cultivated as a winter cover crop and fodder plant but is now grown mainly for its edible seed oils. Brassica napus is similar to some cultivars of Brassica rapa but can most easily be distinguished by its spring to early summer-flowering habit, while Brassica rapa is mainly summer flowering.
