The summer foliage and immature samara of Acer campbellii subsp. wilsonii (syn. Acer wilsonii), a subspecies of a 30m tall deciduous tree found in the Himalayas from Nepal to Tibet and in neighbouring parts of China. Subspecies wilsonii is smaller than the species, around 13m tall, and its leaves have 3 lobes rather than the 5-7 lobes of the species. It occurs naturally in China.
