The summer foliage and immature samara of <i>Acer campbellii</i> subsp. <i>wilsonii</i> (syn. <i>Acer wilsonii</i>), a subspecies of a 30m tall deciduous tree found in the Himalayas from Nepal to Tibet and in neighbouring parts of China. Subspecies <i>wilsonii</i> is smaller than the species, around 13m tall, and its leaves have 3 lobes rather than the 5-7 lobes of the species. It occurs naturally in China.
