<i>Veronica lycopodioides</i> (syns. <i>Hebe lycopodioides</i>, <i>Leonohebe lycopodioides</i>), an evergreen shrub with very small leaves that are closely adpressed to the stems. Veronicas with this type of foliage are commonly known as whipcord hebes. It is native to the subalpine and alpine regions of Marlborough and Canterbury in the South Island of New Zealand.
