<i>Veronica salicornioides</i> (syn. <i>Hebe salicornioides</i>, <i>Leonohebe salicornioides</i>), an evergreen shrub with very small leaves that are closely adpressed to the stems. Veronicas with this type of foliage are commonly known as whipcord hebes. It is native to the subalpine regions of southern Marlborough and North Canterbury, South Island of New Zealand.
