Triticale (<i>X. Triticosecale rimpaui</i>), a hybrid between rye (<i>Secale cereale</i>) and wheat (<i>Triticum aestivum</i>). The grain it produces in more nutritious than wheat, though less well suited to baking, and consequently it has been mainly used as a stock feed grain.
