Mexican Alder or Evergreen Alder (<i>Alnus jorullensis</i>), an evergreen or semi-evergreen alder found from central Mexico to Guatemala and Honduras. It can grow to 25m tall, has an erect and quite narrow habit with somewhat weeping branches, and in cooler climates may be nearly fully deciduous.
