Prickly Moses (<i>Acacia verticillata</i> subsp. <i>ruscifolia</i>), a broader leaved subspecies of a late winter to early spring-flowering evergreen shrub or tree to 9m tall native. Subspecies <i>ruscifolia</i> occurs in isolated spots in southern Victoria but is found mainly in western Tasmania. Its bronze-green foliage is tipped with short, fine spines.
