Tibetan Sugar Palm (Arenga micrantha), a slow-growing, sometimes clumping palm native to the cloud forests of Bhutan, Tibet and neighbouring parts of northeastern India In the wild it occurs at elevations up to 2150m, is surprisingly tough for a subtropical palm, and will eventually reach around 6m tall It was not botanically described until 1988.
