The early summer foliage of Golden Elm (<i>Ulmus procera 'Louis van Houtte'). This yellow-leafed cultivar is derived from the English elm. Its exact origins are uncertain. It is quite easily confused with the Golden Wych Elm (<i>Ulmus glabra 'Lutescens'), but has smaller, stiffer leaves that become quite green in summer. Order: Rosales, Family: Ulmaceae
