The last of the autumn foliage of the Golden Wych Elm (Ulmus glabra 'Lutescens'), drained of most of its colour. A cultivar of the Scotch Elm or Wych Elm, 'Lutescens' has soft buttery yellow spring foliage that matures to bright yellow (lime green where shaded) before turning golden in autumn. It grows to around 15m tall, with a slightly wider spread. It is quite easily confused with the Golden Elm (Ulmus procera 'Louis van Houtte'), but has larger, softer leaves. Order: Rosales, Family: Ulmaceae
