Japanese Cobra Lily (Arisaema serratum), a spring-flowering bulb that has flower stems that can be anywhere from 50-150cm tall. The spathes range in colour from pale green to deep maroon, often with white stripes. It occur naturally in Japan and neighbouring parts of Korea and China. Its two leaves are made up of 7-20 leaflets which may be plain green or variegated, as shown here. Order: Alismatales, Family: Araceae
