Tataki (Carex trifida), a sedge found in New Zealand from the Marlborough. Sounds through the South Island and down to the Subantarctic Auckland, Campbell and Macquarie Islands. It is also found in the Falkland Islands, Tierra del Fuego and nearby parts of mainland Chile. It is easily distinguished by its broad blue-green leaves and large bristly flowerheads held above the foliage on sturdy stems. Order: Poales, Family: Cyperaceae
