Paper. Mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera) in autumn as the foliage begins to yellow. This deciduous shrub or tree grows to 15m tall and is native to Japan and China, it has catkin flowers and orange-red fruit. Inner bark fibres make fine paper. The leaves of young plants may be a simple broad lance-shape.
