The distinctive foliage of the White-spotted. Calla. Lily (<i>Zantedeschia albomaculata</i>), a summer-flowering rhizomatous perennial native to southern Africa. It is one of the parents of the fancy-flowered hybrid callas often grown as cut flowers. It has cream-spathed flowerheads on stems up to 90cm tall <span style='color:red'>Note:</span> this image intentionally has very shallow depth of field. The focal point is just to the lower left of the centre of the frame.
