Kiwiberry or Kiwi. Berry (<i>Actinidia arguta</i>), the fruit of a strong-growing, heavy-fruiting deciduous vine native to North Korea, Northern China and neighbouring parts of China. Although of limited shelf life, the fruit has been developed for sale to capitalise on the success of its relative, the kiwifruit (<i>Actinidia chinensis</i>). The flavour resembles kiwifruit, but the fruit is smaller and may be eaten whole as the skin is smooth, not fuzzy like that of the kiwifruit. Order: Ericales, Family: Actinidiaceae
