Thread-leaf. Agave (<i>Agave filifera</i>), a succulent, compact for an agave, that is native to Mexico. It is similar in appearance and closely related to <i>Agave schidigera</i>. Its rosettes have fine filamentous threads along the leaf edges and are up to 60cm diameter and 45cm high. The flower spike is up to 1.8m tall and bears pale green flowers.
