Begonia manicata 'Aureomaculata', a cultivar of an evergreen, rhizomatous, winter-flowering begonia native to Mexico. Its sprawling stems carry red hairs that are on the underside of the leaves are broader and form a collar where the petiole joins the leaf 'Aureomaculata', sometimes called the Leopard. Begonia, differs from the species in having red-flushed leaves with irregular white to cream spots. Order: Cucurbitales, Family: Begoniaceae
