The velvety foliage of Begonia listada (syn. Begonia listida), an evergreen fibrous-rooted, erect-stemmed perennial native to Brazil. It grows to around 35cm tall and has distinctive finely-haired velvety leaves that are unevenly lobed at the top, with a distinctive pale green midrib. The tiny white to pale pink flowers appear mainly in autumn and winter and are not especially showy. Order: Cucurbitales, Family: Begoniaceae
